Sending a large, podium worthy team to CAC 2021 in Barbados and bidding to host the event in 2023 are some of the goals of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Inc. next year.
So said President of the body, Keavon Bess as part of his year in review interview with Stabroek Sport yesterday.
Bess noted that despite the endless adversities this year, the sport got off to a great start with the Novices Championship in Linden in February and ended on a positive note with the virtual ‘Resilience’ competition two weeks ago at the National Cultural Centre.
The two shows sandwiched the forced cancellation of its other statutory calendar events.
