While the Christmas season is a time of celebration for many families, it won’t be for Annasha Lall and her family.
Annasha Lall is the older sister of Sanesha Lall, the 16-year-old Richmond Housing Scheme girl who was fatally stabbed last month by a man she rejected, and she said she has no plans to celebrate Christmas this year after all that her family has been made to endure.
Annasha said even though losing both parents was a painful and heartbreaking experience for her and her siblings, having each other was a source of comfort for them. However, with Sanesha now gone, she said “it feel like a part of our family has gone with her.”
