West Indies white ball player, Romario Shepherd, who recently returned from a successful tour of New Zealand, has demonstrated his commitment to the development of the sport by sponsoring a grassroots tournament in Berbice.
“West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd came on board to support the Berbice Cricket Board by sponsoring an Under-13 cricket tournament for clubs in the Ancient County,” a release from the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) stated.
According to the release, President of the BCB, Hilbert Foster, sought the promising all-rounder’s support and he readily agreed to assist.
