The Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) last Tuesday added another dimension of the sport to the public with the launch of `Air Badminton’ a new outdoor aspect of the game.
The launch took place at the National Park in Georgetown.
According to a release from the association, Air Badminton is a new project in partnership with HSBC, a British multinational investment bank and a Global Development partner of the World Badmintion Federation(BWF), designed to create opportunities for people of all ages and ability to play badminton on hard, grass, and sand surfaces in parks, gardens, streets, playgrounds, and beaches around the world.
