BCB begins distribution of Clayton Lambert donated gear

Young Restesh Haimchand of No. 72 Village received a new bat from the BCB as promised by its president Hilbert Foster.

The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB), at the weekend, began the distribution of cricket gear donated by former West Indies cricketer, Clayton Lambert.

“A total of 72 youth cricketers, drawn from 19 clubs with junior teams, received donations of cricket gear including uniforms, from the BCB under the Clayton Lambert Gear Project,” a release from the board stated.

“The project saw a $1.5M investment from the former West Indies opener and his friends and several other organisations benefited with donations of gear as well.”
