Region Six Chairman David Armogan who on Thursday confirmed the resignation of the Skeldon Estate General Manager, Vishnu Panday, yesterday said that after seeking clarification it has been determined that Panday has not resigned.

Armogan had made the confirmation on Thursday while responding to a question from Shurla Scott-Richardson, APNU+AFC Councillor, at the first statutory meeting of the Region Six Regional Democratic Council.

However, yesterday, Armogan contacted Stabroek News and explained that after the issue was raised by Scott-Richardson, who is close to Panday, he thought the information was authentic, but after seeking further clarity yesterday he has discovered that “the man is still on the job.”
