GCF looking to ride off season next weekend

The GCF planned group rides will be held on Saturdays and Sundays and will be geared towards assisting the cyclists with base and endurance training.

After staging three successful Time-Trial events last month, the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) is planning a series of rides that could start as early as next weekend.

According to Racing Secretary of the federation, Malcolm Sonaram, the group rides will be held on Saturdays and Sundays and will be geared towards assisting the cyclists with base and endurance training.

He also stated that the granting of permission for the rides will be subjected to the approval of the National COVID-19 Task Force and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
