A Herstelling man is now dead after he rode into a minibus along the Herstelling Public Road, East Bank Demerara, on Friday afternoon.
Adiraj Persaud, 33, was riding his bicycle across the road at the time of the accident.
The Guyana Police Force, in a brief statement on the accident, noted that the minibus driven, which was by an East Ruimveldt resident, was proceeding north along the western lane on the western carriageway on the Herstelling Public Road when it collided with Persaud. It also crashed into a parked truck that was nearby.
