The floodwaters in Black Bush Polder as of yesterday were continuing to recede, Deonarine Persaud, Chairman of the Black Bush Polder Water Users Association said last evening.
According to him, as of yesterday five machines remained in the area carrying out works.
He explained that three machines were working on clearing front drains, while two were working on back drains.
