A Corentyne mechanic died yesterday morning after he was involved in an accident along the Number 23 Public Road, West Coast Berbice.
Dead is Andre Joseph, 29, of Lot 24 Manchester Village, Corentyne. He was driving motor car HB 2975 at the time of the accident.
According to information gathered, motor car HC 7197 was heading to Georgetown. It is alleged by its driver, Collis Johnson, 39, of Lot 73, Number 53 Village that while approaching the second turn in the village he noticed Joseph losing control of his vehicle on the wet road. He said the front of his vehicle was then struck by Joseph’s car.
