Kalesh Puran, General Manager of Puran Brothers Inc, is presently awaiting official word from the Mayor and City Council regarding the company being excluded from the new listing of garbage collectors in the city.
Puran during an interview with Stabroek News disclosed that concern was raised after viewing a listing on the Mayor and City Council’s (M&CC) Facebook page, where it showed the council had awarded contracts to other contractors.
He said that he is unsure of where the company stands since no official statement was received informing them that their services were no longer needed.
