A vendor was yesterday released on $50,000 bail after telling the courtroom that the virtual complainant is a troublemaker.
Junior Beckles, 26, a vendor of 19 ‘D’ Field, Sophia, was taken before Magistrate Alisha George at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with unlawful and malicious wounding.
The charge alleges that on January 19, at ‘B’ Field Sophia, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Damian Peters. Beckles pleaded guilty with explanation but later changed his plea to not guilty.
