File on woman struck dead by police minibus sent to DPP

The case file on  the death of Dulmattie Boodlall, a woman who was fatally struck by a Guyana Police Force minibus has been sent to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.

Police Commander of Region 4 (b) Senior Superintendent Linden Isles, when contacted, stated that they are presently awaiting further instructions from the DPP on the way forward.

Stabroek News had reported that Boodlall, 58, of Golden Grove, was on her way to work when she was struck down at Nandy Park, East Bank Demerara, as she attempted to cross the highway.
