A taxi driver is now hospitalised after he was shot three times during an attempted carjacking at Beterver-wagting, East Coast Demerara, on Wednesday afternoon.
Up to yesterday afternoon, Raulvin Maynard, also known as ‘Raulo,’ 41, of Melanie East Coast Demerara, remained in a stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), where he was admitted after the attack.
A Guyana Police Force (GPF) statement explained that Maynard’s attacker, who was armed with a handgun, relieved him of a Blu cellular phone, valued at $8,000.
