Body of minibus driver recovered after suspected Blue Lake drowning

The body of a 25-year-old minibus driver, who allegedly drowned during a midday outing on Thursday at the Blue Lake, Kara Kara, Linden, has been recovered.

Police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Royston Andries-Junor confirmed that Lindo’s body was retrieved around 5.34 pm on Friday from the Blue Lake by a diver who was contracted by his relatives.

Lindo called ‘Kemo’, a resident of Cumming’s Lodge, East Coast Demerara, allegedly disappeared in the water around 12.30 pm Thursday.
