Homestretch accident survivor undergoes emergency surgery

Troy Glen, a survivor of the accident along Homestretch Avenue that claimed the lives of Dakera Gritten and Tonika Halley on Sunday, yesterday underwent emergency surgery for a fractured jaw and chin.

An aunt of the injured man, during an interview with Stabroek News, said that Glen remained hospitalised at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), where he underwent the surgery.

Glen left home on Sunday sometime after 9pm on his bicycle to attend a barbeque in South Ruimveldt.
