The trial of the three persons accused of the 2017 murder of Ruby fisherman Shereffudeen Nazamudeen is scheduled to commence this morning before Justice Navindra Singh at the Georgetown High Court.
A jury was empaneled yesterday to hear the case.
The charge against Mandy Sukhdeo, a former Region Three AFC councillor; her father, Surendra Sukhdeo, a Good Hope/ Hydronie Neighbourhood Democratic Council APNU councillor and their neighbour Rean Ghani is that on Valentine’s Day—February 14th, 2017 they murdered Nazamudeen.
