The search continues for the four prisoners who escaped from the Mazaruni Prison on Tuesday, Director of Prisons (ag) Nicklon Elliott says.
Speaking to the Sunday Stabroek yesterday, Elliott said that based on intelligence received, the Guyana Prison Service is working along with the police in an effort to track down the suspects.
Up to yesterday afternoon, the four escapees remained at large.
Imran Ramsaywack, Kenrick Lyte, Samuel Gouveia and Ryan Jones escaped from the solitary division of the Mazaruni Prison Complex, Cuyuni-Mazaruni on Tuesday morning.
