A staff member of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) is under investigation by the Ministry of Health (MoH) after a businessman claimed that he was vaccinated with his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine despite him not being a frontline worker.
Barbados recently donated 3,000 of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine to Guyana. President Irfaan Ali had stated that vaccines from this batch will be used exclusively on frontline workers. However, a businessman recently took to social media and stated that he was vaccinated with his first dose of the vaccine despite him not being a frontline worker.
