A D’ Edward Village, West Bank Berbice fisherman yesterday morning turned himself over to police, almost half a day after he slashed his cousin’s throat during an altercation with a group of relatives.
Reaz Mohamed, 24, of Lot 1 Section ‘A’, D’ Edward Village, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Fort Wellington Public Hospital, where he was rushed on Sunday evening after the altercation.
His cousin, of the same address, fled the scene on Sunday evening but turned himself over to police yesterday morning, a police source confirmed.
