The burnt body of a man found on Monday near Huaxin Supermarket at Enmore, East Coast Demerara, has been identified as an Enmore pensioner, 72-year-old Mathura Etwaru.
The deceased was identified by his son, Navin Mohabir of Annandale Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara.
A suspect, Marco Seudatt also known as ‘Bissoon’, 22, a labourer, of Lot 175 Fourth Street, Foulis, East Coast Demerara has since been taken into custody.
