It has been more than a week since four prisoners escaped from the Mazaruni Prison and up to yesterday there was no sighting of the quartet.
Contacted for an update, Director of Prisons (ag) Nicklon Elliott told Stabroek News yesterday that as the hunt continue for the escapees, ranks of the Joint Services are working on some “added” information.
Imran Ramsaywack, Kenrick Lyte, Samuel Gouveia and Ryan Jones escaped from the solitary division of the Mazaruni Prison Complex, Cuyuni-Mazaruni last Tuesday morning.
