Cops recapture escaped convict during Sophia search

After managing to elude law enforcers for almost five months, James Moore, the robbery convict who had escaped from the Lusignan Prison, was recaptured by the police yesterday morning.

Director of Prisons (ag) Nicklon Elliott confirmed that Moore was recaptured around 6.15am yesterday in ‘A’ Field, Sophia by police ranks.

At the time the police were conducting a cordon search exercise in the area.
