After successfully hosting four grassroots tournaments last weekend, the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) will host three more tomorrow as the cricket season continues.
Last weekend, the BCB staged the Chattergoon brothers, Narsingh Deonarine, Nagamootoo brothers and Mankarran Singh Challenge Cup tournaments at the Fyrish, Chesney, Whim and Kennard Memorial grounds respectively.
Some 16 clubs participated in the tournaments and another 12 will be in action tomorrow as the board pushes on with its efforts to bring back the passion for the game at the grassroots level.
