Schoolchildren of Enterprise Village, East Coast Demerara, will now have easier access to school with the planned construction of a pedestrian bridge linking the community with Non Pariel.
A release yesterday from the Ministry of Public Works stated that Minister Deodat Indar had visited Enterprise where he committed to the construction of a pedestrian bridge which will link the community with the village of Non Pariel. He explained that he was informed that with the absence of a bridge, the school children have been forced to take a longer and more dangerous route to and from school.
