COVID vaccines to be made available to MPs next week – Dr Anthony

Health authorities are currently making arrangements have Members of Parliament (MPs) vaccinated in the new week, according to health Minister, Dr Frank Anthony.

This disclosure was made during the minister’s COVID-19 update on Thursday as he was giving a progress report on the vaccination exercise in Guyana. As the inoculation of persons age 60 years and older began on Wednesday, he stated that a number of persons including former Presidents, Donald Ramotar, Samuel Hinds, and David Granger have received their shots.
