A fire has gutted the upper flat of a two-storey house at Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara.
Persons living at the Lot 3 Bagotstown property have told Stabroek News that they were asleep when the fire started.
The fire, which is suspected to have been electrical in origin, was extinguished by firefighters who were quick to respond.
