Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jnr., was recently paid a courtesy call by the newly-elected Executive Committee of the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB).
According to a release from the DCB, the minister congratulated the members of the DCB and urged them to set aside all contentious issues and work diligently for the progress and development of cricket in Demerara.
He discussed several key issues including schools cricket, female cricket and the rehabilitation of cricket grounds within Demerara.
