With a jury unable to arrive at a verdict, Kevin Mohan now faces a retrial for the murder of his aunt Anita Mohan.
Following hours of deliberations yesterday afternoon, the forewoman announced that the panel was deadlocked and unable to arrive at a consensus.
Justice Navindra Singh who presided over the case at the High Court in Georgetown, then informed Mohan that the jury was hung and as a result he would have to undergo a fresh trial.
