The trial of Rayan Carter who is accused of the 2018 murder of former Kaneville machine operator, Ishwar Ramanah, is currently underway before Justice Navindra Singh and a jury at the High Court in Georgetown.
Carter is alleged to have fatally shot Ramanah during a robbery, after invading the man’s home.
The charge against him states that on January 13th, 2018, at Kaneville, East Bank Demerara (EBD) he murdered Ramanah during the course or furtherance of a robbery.
