A businessman is now dead following an accident at Loo Creek Public Road, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Michael Sukhu, 58, of Lower Kara Kara, Mackenzie Linden.
Sharon Sukhu, the wife of the deceased, during an interview with Stabroek News stated that Michael left home around 4 am on the fateful day and was on his way home when the accident occurred.
The woman, who was still shaken by the tragic news, explained that she received a call from an unknown person at about 9pm on Tuesday informing her of the accident.
