16 applications received for radio frequencies

The Office of Prime Minister has received 16 applications for radio frequencies.

According to a notice published in the Official Gazette, the applications have been made in keeping with Section 30(2) and 25 (1) (b) of the Tele-communications Act of 2016.

Among the applicants are six security services and six taxi services. The security services include Frontier Security Service of Tucville, Georgetown, Security Safety Services, of Grove, East Bank Demerara, Brothers Security Firm, of East La Penitence, Georgetown, Gupta Security, of No.2 Village, in East Canje, Berbice, Black Mountain Guyana Inc, of Quamina Street, Georgetown. Also applying is Modern Security Service, which is based at the Crichlow Labour College Compound.
