Cops find ammo, stolen boat engine during Berbice River raid

The ammunition found during the Guyana Police Force raid

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is currently probing the discovery of a quantity of ammunition and boat engines, one of which was stolen, during a raid conducted in the Upper Berbice River area.

In a press release, the GPF said the raid was conducted on Thursday between 6am and 1pm at Sand Hill, Hururu and Paraway, Berbice River. During the raid, police ranks went to the home of a 20-year-old unemployed man of Paraway, Upper Berbice River, who reportedly fled through thick vegetation in the area when they arrived.
