A five-wicket haul from Kelvin Leitch ensured Police Sports Club an innings and 100-run win over the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) on the second day of the Georgetown Cricket Association/GISE/Star Party Rental/Trophy Stall first-division, two-day tournament yesterday.
The hosts Police with a lead of 132 resumed on 242 for six and batted an hour to reach 304 all out from 57.5 overs.
They then dismissed GNIC for 94 in 25.3 overs 30 minutes after lunch.
