Jai Hind Jaguars top of the tree in BMC

A 47-run win over Timothy Masters followed by a walkover in round three comfortably placed Jai Hind Jaguars at the top of the table in the Banks Beer/Maximum Vodka Big Man Cricket T25 tournament.

The over-45 tournament’s second-round match on Friday was the lone contest of the day at the Enmore Community Centre ground where Jaguars posted 211 for seven before restricting Masters to 164 for eight.

The Berbice-based Jaguars, strung together a series of partnerships from the get-go with Hassan Hussain stroking 47, laced with three fours and one six at the top of the order. Hussain added 41 for the first wicket with Subramani Mangali (29) and 52 for the second wicket with Kemraj Sumir (27).
