Cops preparing to seek advice on Loo Creek fatal accident

Michael Sukhu

The police are preparing a file to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice on the accident that claimed the life of Michael Sukhu, at Loo Creek Public Road, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.

Acting Commander of Region Four (b), Senior Superintendent Mahendra Siwnarine, told Stabroek News that the file will be sent to the DPP’s office by Tuesday of the new week.

Sukhu, 58, of Lower Kara Kara, Mackenzie, Linden, was on his way home on March 16th when he suffered a blow out and subsequently collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

As a result of the collision, Sukhu’s vehicle ended up in the bushes nearby. The man, who suffered injuries to his body, was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he died sometime after.

A post-mortem examination that was conducted last Friday found that he died from multiple injuries.
