NY Tri-State U15 beat Everest U15 by 79 runs

New York Tri-State Under-15s won their first match of their tour of Guyana beating Everest Cricket Club Under-15s by 79 runs yesterday on Everest’s home turf, Carifesta Avenue and Camp Road.

Everest won the toss and inserted the visitors who posted 171 for nine from their full 50-over quota. Everest responded with 80 all out in 36.2 overs.

Tri-State were indebted to an unbroken 66 run partnership for the last wicket with Anirudh Bolisetty leading the way. The left-hander, batting at number 10, made 52 not out from 78 balls, laced with six boundaries.
