Four new COVID-19 deaths yesterday pushed Guyana’s death toll to 235 while 126 new cases were confirmed.
The Ministry of Health announced the deaths at separate times and noted that the 232nd and the 233rd deaths were recorded as of Wednesday. They were identified as a 91-year-old woman from Region Four and an 84-year-woman from Region Ten, who both died while receiving care at medical facilities.
The 234th and 235th deaths were recorded yesterday, according to the ministry. They were identified as two men, a 62-year-old from Region Three and a 45-year-old from Region Four. They also died while receiving care at medical facilities.
