Minister of Home Affairs Robeson Benn on Thursday made an impromptu visit to the Vreed-en-Hoop Police Station where he interacted with the ranks.
He was given a tour of the facility and stated that he was pleased with the way this station was kept, according to a statement on the police Facebook page.
The Minister voiced his hope that shortly, the accommodation for the ranks – especially in respect to their beds and mattresses – will be improved with the passage of this year’s budget.
