Centuries from Kevon Boodie and Kevlon Anderson as well as a five-wicket haul from Antony Adams gave Police Sports Club (PSC) a 269-run lead over Transport Sports Club (TSC) in the Georgetown Cricket Association/GISE/Star Party Rental/Trophy Stall first-division, two-day tournament yesterday.

With the top spot of their zone on the line, Police, on home turf and under overcast conditions, won the toss and inserted Transport who were bundled out for 101 in just 27.5 overs. Police returned to end the day on 370 for three after 47 overs.

Their innings was piloted by a skipper’s knock from Boodie who took advantage of the youthful bowling attack.
