The 2021 Police Commissioner’s T20 Inter-Division Cup bowled off yesterday at the Everest Cricket Club ground with ‘B’ and ‘A’ Divisions chalking up wins.
In the first encounter, defending champions, ‘F’ Division suffered a first-round knockout after losing by 52 runs to ‘B’ Division.
Overnight rainfall forced the contest to be reduced to a 10-over affair with ‘F’ Division winning the toss and opting to chase. That decision proved to be a misstep as ‘B’ Division posted 132 for one from their allotment while ‘F’ Division only managed 80 for eight by the time their overs ended.
