CWI still discussing possibility of WI Championship – Grave

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cricket West Indies (CWI), Johnny Grave says there are currently ongoing discussions to host the 2021 Regional Four-Day championship.

Grave told Stabroek Sport, “We are still in discussions with the TBs [Territorial Boards], WIPA [West Indies Players Association] and Ministries of Health to investigate and understand what will be possible this year in terms of the West Indies Championship or any four-day cricket this year.”

Back in January, Grave revealed while on the Mason and Guest radio programme, that the board was planning to bowl off the Championship in April.
