A case file is being prepared to solicit legal advice on the accident that claimed the life of Samuel Colin Ming, who died last Friday following a collision with an ambulance at JB Singh Road and Thomas Lands, Georgetown.
When contacted, Police Commander of Region Four (A) Assistant Commissioner Simon McBean told Stabroek News stated that the driver of the ambulance was released on station bail but the investigation is in progress.
The police had reported that the accident occurred around 2.15 pm on April 1 and Ming succumbed around 1.45 pm the following day in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
