Sports fraternity pays last respects to Ming

Colin Ming being carried from the Merriman’s Funeral Home following the viewing where he was surrounded by family, friends and members of the sports fraternity.

The sports fraternity on Thursday paid its last respects to Samuel Colin Ming, a long time businessman and generous benefactor of sports disciplines and athletes.

Ming, brother of popular businessman, Stanley Ming, died last Friday following a road accident with an ambulance the previous day.

He was 67.

Ming was well known as an administrator and competitor in the circles of track and field, motor racing, squash and golf. He also played a key role at the Georgetown Club.
