Three women die of COVID, 60,000 persons vaccinated

The Ministry of Health yesterday said that three women who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died even as just over 60,000 persons have now been vaccinated.

The latest fatalities are a 41-year-old female from Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) and a 65-year-old woman and a 63-year-old woman, both from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica). They died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 255.
