A man who police say discharged rounds at them was yesterday charged and remanded for alleged illegal possession of a gun and ammunition.
Jeremiah Frank, 27, was before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court when he was remanded for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
It is alleged that on March 28, at Pike Street, North Sophia, he had in his possession a 9mm pistol without being the holder of a firearm licence. It is also alleged that on the same date and at the same location, he had in his possession, eight live rounds of 9mm ammunition without being the holder of a firearm licence.
