Cyclists in action Sunday in 60-mile event

A busier second quarter for cycling events starts Sunday with a 60-mile road race.

After a quiet first quarter with just two open races due to COVID-19 restrictions, two races are carded for this month.

The first of which is scheduled to pedal off in three days after permission was granted by the COVID-19 Task Force on Monday. The green light to stage the event was confirmed by Racing Secretary of the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF), Malcolm Sonaram yesterday.
