The body of a Crabwood Creek fisherman, who went missing in the Corentyne River on Thursday evening while plying his trade was yesterday morning discovered near to where he disappeared underwater.
Dead is Devin Persaud also known as ‘Richard’, 24, of Lot 35 Grant 1752 Crabwood Creek, Upper Corentyne.
Last Wednesday afternoon boat captain Mahendradatt Mukram, 24, of Grant 1802 Crabwood Creek along with Persaud and other crew members left with fishing boat ‘Raghnie’ bearing licence number BV 04389 to go fishing.
