A 22-year-old man ended his life yesterday after he attacked a 17-year-old girl while she was travelling home on the Essequibo River.
The name of the deceased was not revealed by the police.
According to the police, the attack occurred at around 11.45 am in the vicinity of Fort Island while the victim and her siblings were traveling home from Hubu Koker.
