Jaikarran Ramnarine, who fatally stabbed his drinking partner during an argument at Cane Grove, East Coast Demerara, was remanded to prison on Wednesday.
Ramnarine appeared before Magistrate Melissa Mittelholzer at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court, where he was charged with the murder of Khemraj Sukhan.
He was not required to plead to the charge and was subsequently remanded to prison.
